Diffio – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how Ozni Apps, LLC (“Ozni Apps,” “Diffio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes information about you when you access or use any websites, mobile or desktop applications, APIs, or related services that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Service”). Diffio AI is provided and operated by Ozni Apps, LLC.

3. How We Use Information

4. How We Share Information

  • Service Providers & Partners. To vendors who perform services for us (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, support tooling) under confidentiality obligations;
  • Affiliates. To our subsidiaries or corporate affiliates for the purposes described in this Policy;
  • Legal & Compliance. If required by law, subpoena, or court order; to respond to government inquiries; to defend legal claims; or to protect our rights or the safety of any person;
  • Business Transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction and this Policy will continue to apply to the transferred information unless otherwise provided by law);
  • With Your Consent. We may share information with third parties when you intentionally direct us to do so;
  • At Our Sole Discretion. We reserve the right to disclose any information, including the contents of your uploads, to the extent we deem necessary or appropriate to enforce our Terms of Service or investigate potential violations.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain information for as long as we deem useful to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, or as required by law. We may permanently delete, de‑identify, or anonymize data at any time, with or without notice. We are not a backup or archival service. You are solely responsible for maintaining copies of your uploads and outputs.

6. International Data Transfers

We are headquartered in the United States and may process information in the U.S. or any other country in which we or our service providers operate. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.

7. Security

We employ commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect information under our control. Nevertheless, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security or privacy.

8. Analytics & Advertising

We use analytics and advertising tools to understand how our Service is used and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. These tools may collect information about your use of the Service, including:

Your Privacy Choices: You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time by visiting the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our website footer, or in your Profile settings if you are logged in. Opting out will disable PostHog analytics and Google tracking for your browser.

9. Your Choices & Rights

  • Account Information. You may review, update, or delete certain account details by logging in to your Diffio dashboard.
  • Opt‑Out of Marketing. We do not currently send marketing emails. If we ever do, you may opt out by following the instructions in those messages.
  • Cookies & Analytics. You can manage your cookie and analytics preferences through the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer. Most browsers also let you remove or reject cookies. Doing so may affect Service functionality.
  • Applicable Law. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights (e.g., access, correction, deletion, or data portability). To exercise those rights, contact us at privacy@diffio.ai. We will respond as required by law; we reserve the right to verify your identity.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that a child under 18 has provided personal data, we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy at any time by posting the revised version on the Service. Changes become effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
