Video support

Review supported video workflows, media handling expectations, and how video uploads map into Diffio processing.

Diffio accepts video files that contain audio, restores the soundtrack, and can return a video output with the restored audio attached while keeping the original visuals unchanged.

Video Workflow

    Upload Video

    Upload a supported video container with an audio track. Diffio detects video inputs from metadata and file type, then prepares the audio for restoration.

    Restore Soundtrack

    Diffio restores the audio track and creates preview assets so the result can be reviewed in the project workspace.

  3. 3

    Download Video Output

    Paid plans can download a video output with restored audio when the restored video artifact is ready.

Supported Containers

The app supports MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI, MKV, 3GP, and 3G2 video containers when they include an audio track and are detected as video.

Note
Diffio restores audio from video uploads. It does not upscale, denoise, color grade, or repair video frames.

API Downloads

API clients can request downloadType set to video from get generation download for video projects. Audio and transcript downloads are also available when their artifacts exist.
